ISINI's 7th International Congress 20-23 August 2003 - Lille, France Frontiers in Finance and Economics
ISINI is a society composed of scholars in economics, finance, and business from over 60 countries seeking to promote relevant research on current world problems (see: www.isini.org).

ISINI's 7th International Congress is hosted by the Lille Graduate School of Management (Group ESC Lille) and co-chaired by Professors Ephraim Clark and Pascal Grandin.

The objective of the conference is to bring together academics and scholars from all over the world to focus on timely economic and financial issues.

This congress will feature competitive sessions on theoretical, applied and analytical studies on a wide variety of subjects in Economics and Finance.

Themes

Topics include but are not limited to: Financial markets and instruments, securities pricing, emerging markets, sustainable development, international capital flows, country/political risk, foreign direct and portfolio investment, corporate governance, credit risk, monetary policy and investment theory, financial liberalization and innovation, sovereign debt issues, structural policies and economic adjustment, open economies issues, economic and financial globalization and integration, crisis and contagion effects, country and comparative studies, economic history, development, political economy, prospective studies, and transition economies and their problems.

Call for Papers

Submission of Proposals and Deadlines

Proposals for both papers and full sessions are encouraged. Please submit by April 11, 2003 an electronic version in Word or Pdf format or three
copies of a completed or a nearly completed paper, including the affiliation, address, phone, and email of each author to:

Proposals for full sessions must include a designated chairperson, 3-4 papers and at least 2 discussants. They should include the theme and objectives of the session and a brief abstract of each paper. Authors of accepted papers will be notified within 4 weeks of the receipt of their proposals.
