There will also be a pre-conference workshop session on Tuesday, 3rd July 2007 to introduce derivatives and their application to property to senior property investors or other non-derivative specialists who are looking to further their understanding of the mechanics of derivatives structures and their application in the context of property.

Frédéric Ducoulombier, Associate Professor at EDHEC Business School, will be making a presentation in the session on Risk Management – How Derivatives can Help entitled, "Property derivatives: investors' perceptions and expectations" where he will discuss the results of a pan-European survey conducted by the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre.
