Partnership opportunities available for EDHEC's European ETF Summit in Paris

Following the success of the recent EDHEC Asset Management Days (April 2005, Geneva) and EDHEC Hedge Fund Days (February 2006, London) and based on the fast-growing demand for non-commercial and content-oriented conferences, the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre has decided to organise a topical summit focusing on Exchange Traded Funds.

ETFs are not only proving to be very popular within the financial industry at large but are also providing actual implementation solutions for the allocation techniques developed within the research centre.

The EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre will be organising the first edition of the EDHEC ETF Summit in Paris, on November 21st and 22nd, 2006. Once more, this event will be the perfect opportunity for academics, practitioners and institutional investors to meet and discuss the latest industry and research developments, the results of EDHEC research in the fields of risk and asset allocation and, of course, the use of Exchange Traded Funds.

The event is expected to bring together around 500 institutional investors, multimanagers, private bankers and traditional asset managers interested in the features of ETFs and the structuring theme of the summit will be "The role of ETFs in asset allocation."

This theme will include the major topics covered in the various EDHEC research programmes and embrace areas such as:

  • The use of ETFs by institutional investors (an exclusive forthcoming EDHEC survey)
  • ETFs and portable beta
  • The use of ETFs in a dynamic core-satellite allocation
  • ETFs and ALM
  • Structured products and ETFs

EDHEC is implementing a partnership policy that is particularly value-enhancing for partners. Past sponsors have appreciated both the quality of the sessions and the high level profiles of the delegates.

If you believe your firm would benefit from being associated with this event, please contact Jean-René Giraud by email at jrg@edhec-risk.com for all information relative to sponsorship packages.
