Sponsorship opportunities now open for EDHEC-Risk Days Europe 2014 on 25-26 March in London

EDHEC-Risk Institute is one of the leading international academic research centres. Its mission is to build bridges between the academic and professional communities by informing the industry of the latest research in asset management and by exchanging views on topical issues.

In 2004, EDHEC-Risk Institute launched a series of research conferences targeted at the financial services industry which have now become a point of reference in Europe, expanding its offering to Asia in 2012, and to North America in 2013.

The Institute will be hosting the next edition of its EDHEC-Risk Days Europe conference on 25-26 March, 2014 at The Mermaid in London, a two-day event providing finance professionals with the state-of-the-art applied research in investment and risk management.

The preliminary programme for EDHEC-Risk Days Europe 2014 is as follows:

    • The Limits of Existing Smart Beta Fixed-Income Benchmark Approaches
    • Towards Smarter Bond Benchmarks
    • Measuring Risk Diversification of Indices

  • Day 2: Global Institutional Investment Conference, including the PhD Forum

On the second day, the Global Institutional Investment Conference will present the results of EDHEC-Risk research on themes of great interest to institutional investors, including systematic strategies in long-only equity investing and alternative Investments, Solvency II, new research on infrastructure investing, liability hedging portfolios and risk parity.

The major themes addressed on Day 2 will be:
