Frank Fabozzi      Jianqing Fan

We are delighted to report that Professor Frank Fabozzi, currently of Yale University, and Professor Jianqing Fan, of Princeton University, will be joining the EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD in Finance programme faculty as of the next academic year.

Professor Fabozzi is a specialist in fixed-income analysis, investment management, and structured finance, while Professor Fan focuses on financial econometrics, non-linear time series, and statistical theory and methods.

Professor Fabozzi will join EDHEC Business School as Professor of Finance in August 2011 and, as part of the EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD in Finance core faculty, will focus on advising doctoral candidates. Professor Fan will join the affiliate programme faculty and give his first elective seminar in September 2012 in Singapore. They strengthen an exceptional team of international scholars that brings together eleven senior economics and finance scholars drawn from the EDHEC Business School faculty and nineteen affiliate professors from foremost research institutions around the world.

The EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD in Finance implies an intense personal commitment and is designed to be completed over three years. Its structure includes core courses, electives, research workshops, and the dissertation. Elective seminars and workshops expose PhD candidates to the latest advances in specific fields of their choice. The dissertation allows participants to work individually with programme faculty on topics selected for their academic and industry relevance and according to each candidate’s research interests and professional goals.
