Forthcoming graduation of EDHEC's finance-based MSc programme students

High-calibre students from EDHEC's four finance-based Master of Science programmes (Finance, Risk and Asset Management, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets) will be available for full-time employment, or post-study internships, in financial institutions, consultancies and industry from July 2009 onwards. MSc in Finance

The MSc in Finance programme is designed to impart a wide-ranging understanding of corporate finance and market finance, and is a programme partner with the CFA Institute. Its broad curriculum gives equal attention to corporate finance and capital markets and allows participants to develop expertise in corporate financial strategy, investment banking, financial accounting, reporting and analysis, risk management, and equity and fixed income portfolio management. The programme prepares participants for a wide variety of international careers in corporate financial management, investment banking and private equity, commercial banking and financial services.

MSc in Risk and Asset Management

The MSc in Risk & Asset Management course draws heavily upon the expertise developed in the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre and research findings are a core component of the programme. Its demanding curriculum focuses on capital markets and allows participants to develop expertise in traditional and alternative investment analysis, asset management, financial modelling, financial engineering and risk management. The MSc in Risk and Asset Management is also an official CFA programme partner. Graduates typically work in the areas of asset and liability management, alternative investments, fund of hedge funds, risk management and research within asset management companies, brokerages and investment banks, hedge funds, private banks and pension funds.

MSc in Corporate Finance

The MSc in Corporate Finance covers the core concepts and theory of corporate finance which underpin modern day international finance within the global market to produce specialists with a very focused knowledge of corporate finance, debt and equity financing, corporate governance, financial accounting, mergers and acquisitions and investment banking. Graduates undertake international careers in investment banking, consulting, corporate financial control, accounting and strategic management.

The MSc in Capital Markets is designed specifically to impart a thorough knowledge of the operation of global capital markets, the state-of-the-art financial instruments currently employed, advanced pricing techniques and global risk management concepts.
