EDHEC-Risk Institute was established in 2001 to conduct world-class academic research and highlight its applications to the industry. Its "research for business" philosophy has led the centre to maintain a constant dialogue with professionals in order to benefit the industry as a whole.

In order to advance the frontiers of knowledge and foster industry innovation, EDHEC-Risk Institute implements six research programmes focusing on asset allocation and risk management in the traditional and alternative investment universes, the results of which are disseminated through the three EDHEC-Risk Institute locations in London, Nice and Singapore.
