EDHEC-Risk Executive Education
The mission of the executive education arm of EDHEC-Risk Institute is to help investment professionals to upgrade their skills with advanced risk and asset management training across traditional and alternative classes.

Benefiting from the experience of a leading business school recognised as a centre of excellence for applied research in risk and asset management, we offer a range of executive courses in investment management, the PhD in Finance programme, and the Executive MSc in Risk and Investment Management.
EDHEC Business School believes that academic research has a vital role to play in promoting innovation and constantly raising professional standards and has spelled out its educational credo as ‘professional development through research-based excellence.’ The PhD in Finance it has organised in conjunction with EDHEC-Risk Institute is the culmination of this ambition. The purpose of the PhD in Finance at EDHEC Business School is to help outstanding individuals become autonomous researchers and lifelong innovators by enabling them to develop the scientific background and skills required to define, conduct and complete research projects that advance knowledge and practices in the financial industry. This unique programme offers both a residential track for high-potential graduate students who will hold part-time research or teaching positions at EDHEC Business School, and an executive track for high-level practitioners in full-time jobs. The programme is taught by an exceptional team of international scholars who not only hold prestigious qualifications, distinctions and appointments but have also made significant contributions to the field of financial economics through research, consulting, and executive education.
The innovative Executive MSc in Risk and Investment Management programme has been introduced by EDHEC-Risk Institute for practitioners who wish to embrace and lead the major changes that will reshape the investment management industry. The programme is offered in Europe, from London and Nice, and in Asia, from Singapore, and can be completed over 17 months of part-time studies. Driven by the evolving requirements of the investment industry and designed for experienced practitioners, the Executive MSc in Risk and Investment Management trains participants to appreciate recent and forthcoming paradigm shifts and equips them with the conceptual and practical tools to improve the organisation of the investment process and optimise asset allocation, portfolio construction, performance measurement, and risk management. Spanning traditional, alternative, and structured investments, and drawing on the latest scientific advances, the programme focuses on dynamic asset allocation and advanced risk management techniques and on the integration of investor needs and constraints in the design of novel solutions for institutional, private and retail investment management.
Designed and delivered by some of the most respected practitioners and academics in the area, our investment management series equips participants with a workable knowledge of the techniques that should be part of the toolkit of fund managers, investment officers and administrators working for institutional investors and family offices, and to consultants and key account representatives advising high net worth individuals and institutions on asset management.

EDHEC-Risk Institute is registered with CFA Institute as an Approved Provider of the Continuing Education Programme. Furthermore, its Advances in Asset Allocation and Alternative Asset Allocation seminars are jointly organised with CFA Institute.
